Hugs symbolize love. Since it’s a contact with one another so closely, it can’t be done unless someone feels comfortable with another person or more. Being comfortable doesn’t have to be in any specific form, for example anything intimate only or anything friendly only. We can be comfortable because we have been spending time with each other, because we clique, because we’re family and are naturally close or we like each other in an affectionate way. So we hug each other to console or just a happy hug that constantly show that we care.
A kiss also symbolises love be it being a peck or more. A mother kisses her child and her husband kisses her and before anyone got married their parents kisses them and when they have children their parents kisses their children. Friends kiss each other too and there many more categories of people who kiss each other. However, there a certain kiss which doesn’t reflect love at all but instead it embodies desire. Therefore the type of kiss does make a difference when indicating love.
A non tangible way that symbolises love is help. Going all the way to help a person can be really hard so to do that does mean something. We can kiss and hug all we want but when the time comes and we just leave our loved ones in the lurch, defeats every hugs and kisses. Therefore help is a subtle love. Even helping a stranger doesn’t mean we love that stranger but it does show love. At least for mankind.
